Barry Mahon – Senior Associate

Barry Mahon was admitted to the role of solicitors in 2016 and is a graduate of the University of Galway. Barry trained in Eugene F. Collins (now known as Addleshaw Goddard LLP) and worked in the property department of Philip Lee LLP prior to joining Hoey & Denning LLP in 2023.

Barry’s areas of practice cover all types of private client matters including the sale and purchase of residential property, drafting of wills, probate, and the administration of estates. Barry also advises clients on Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Barry developed a strong business law acumen whilst working in commercial law firms and his practice areas span to commercial leases, solar farm option agreements and leases, share purchase agreements, real estate finance and shareholder agreements.

Barry is a member of the Midland Solicitors Bar Association, the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association, and the Law Society of Ireland. Barry obtained a Diploma in Finance Law from the Law Society in 2020.

In his spare time, Barry enjoys all types of sports particularly Gaelic games, rugby, soccer, and golf.
